We are a small but growing English language school that only teaches adults. We provide a combination of general English, writing classes, evening and intensive programmes. We also provide IELTS prepration classes. We believe in providing a motivating and enjoyable atmosphere for our students and staff alike. We like coming to work! We make an effort to employ teachers with CELTA or equivalent teaching qualifications with at least several years of teaching experience post qualification. Unlike other schools in Taiwan, we provide salaries and paid holidays.

The Chiao Tung University was founded in 1896 under the name Nanyang College in Shanghai. During 1921, the college's four campuses, located in Shanghai, Peiping, and Wuson were combined into a single university and renamed Chiao Tung University. The University has continued to grow and there are four Jiao Tong Universities in China and one named Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan. The China campuses are located in Shanghai, Beijing, Xian and Cheng-Du. Hsinchu's Chiao Tung University was established in 1958 in Hsinchu, then the annexed science based industrial park is established in 1980. Over the last 45 years, the Chiao Tung University become center of academic excellence and has made significant contributions to the development of Information/ Communication/ Optoelectronics Sciences and Technology and to the world economy. Many of the corporate leaders of world famous companies like Acer, Leo, TSMC, UMC, Cadence, Avanti, and Trident etc. are Chiao Tung's graduates. Papers contributed to IEEE journals are highest in the world.

Kaohsiung American School (KAS) is a private, non-profit Pre-K - 12 institution with 330 students offering college preparatory programs leading to a U.S. high school diploma. It is located in Kaohsiung, a city of 1.5 million in southwestern Taiwan.

The first Joy School opened in 1981 in Taipei's Hsin-Yi district. The guiding belief of Sam Chen and Peggy Huang, the schools' founders, is that learning English should be an enriching experience for children. They were particularly concerned with the increasing globalization and the need for a common language and envisioned a school that would teach English to children in Taiwan. Today, there are more than 200 schools across the island and 12 schools in China. Most of these schools are franchise or owner-operated. Since 1992, Joy has also opened several highly successful preschools. Graduates of this program now continue studying with the Joy American After School.
