Almaty International School, a private non-profit institution that opened in September 1993, offers high quality education in the English language for preschool (3-4 years), elementary, middle, and secondary students. The school, a purpose-built facility that opened in January, 2003, is located on nearly seven hectares of land on the edge of the city.

Miras School is quite a young school and this gives us an opportunity and strength to constantly develop. Process of development applies to all scopes of activity; the number of students has increased over the last 8 years from 72 to 600, and teachers – from 45 to 100. Our alumni (ex-students) have sent their own children to the school. Green Hills British Kindergarten was established in 2008. The Kindergarten itself is in an idyllic setting at the foothills of the mountains, with beautiful views and fresh air. We offer exceptional individual academic and personal care for children aged three to six years old.

Our school was opened on September 2nd, 1999 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, by the Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation. NurOrda International School (NIS) was established in 2008 under the umbrella of the Kazakh-Turkish Educational Foundation KATEV.
