EJU: Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students

What si EJU?
EJU is abbreviation for Examination for Japanese University Admission.
It’s the test for foreign students evaluating general level of knowledge. It’s a necessary test for entering Japanese universities and colleges.

Structure of EJU
There are following parts in the test:

  • Japanese language: listening comprehension, reading, writing an essay.
  • Exact sciences: physics, chemistry, biology, or others required by an university you plan to enter.
  • General knowledge of Japan and the world.
  • Mathematics

    EJU is conducted twice a year. Results of the test are valid for 2 years.
