It is Shenyang Jianzhu (Architecture) University in Shenyang, China. Thisisa large city in northeast China, about 200 km west of the North Koreanborder. The contract

calls for 16 ‘hours’ per week. A teaching hour isfiftyminutes long. Normally only twelve hours are required. Usually you see aclass for two hours a week so one lesson plan a week is all that is required.

The pay is low by Canadian standards but it is enough to live well on,frequently go to bars, restaurants, use taxis and travel locally. It isparticularly lucrative for a retired person. I live on my salary and bank my entire pension.
