Gateway Technical College seeks three Instructors, Adult Basic Education/English Language Learner. Under the supervision of the Dean of Campus Affairs, the Instructors will instruct adults in basic skills, GED, HSED and English as a Second Language (ESL). Responsibilities include student advisement

on academic issues, curriculum development, recruitment and retention efforts, committee work, and participation in efforts to market Gateway. The positions require a Master’s degree with an undergraduate degree in elementary or secondary education with twenty semester credits in English as a Second Language, Elementary Education, Applied Linguistics, or Reading Instruction, and one year (2,000 hours) of occupational experience outside the field of education.
